Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role in Doha, Qatar for a Digital Manufacturing Engineer. The Digital Manufacturing Engineer will be involved in the design and implementation of digital manufacturing systems to enhance productivity and efficiency in the manufacturing process. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies that increase manufacturing productivity. The Digital Manufacturing Engineer will also collaborate on process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs through the use of digital tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC machines
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++, as well as experience with machine learning and data analysis
  • Experience with 3D printing, robotics, and other advanced manufacturing technologies
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment is a plus
  • Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.
  • Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.
  • Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.
  • Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Determining problem resolutions and implementing improvements.
  • Developing detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow.
  • Researching and developing new processes, equipment, and products.
