Overview of the role:

To formulate, develop and direct Automall retail sales business strategy and activity to achieve budgeted targets in respect of financial and trading performance whilst continually enhancing the organizational culture, value and reputation in the market with all employees, customers, principals and regulatory bodies.

What you will do:

  • To deliver consistently at sales revenue, expense and net profit objectives as per the agreed budget.
  • To maximize the return on inventory (both sourcing and sales) by keeping optimum stocks without affecting availability to ensure sales volumes are met and customer engagement levels achieved, (including achievement of NPS scores).
  • To plan and implement agreed strategy for HR management and development including search and recruitment, succession planning, motivation, culture and attitudinal development. Performance appraisals and development plans to be developed and actively executed. To proactively grow Employee Engagement scores through impact planning and delivery.

At both a strategic and operational level to continuously monitor, evaluate and execute on trends emerging from statistical records of vital business measurements including market share, market pattern shifts, units sales volumes. Additionally to enhance customer engagement scores, and productivity ratios to ensure continued progress toward budgeted and forecasted outputs, (in line with balanced scorecard KPI’s.

  • To evolve and implement at Automall all Retailer sales standards (including brand and proposition), systems and processes (SOP’s) for achieving compliance, adopting best business practice and ensuring optimum commercial results.
  • To support the Marketing Communications Manager/Team to design, plan and implement (at a strategic and operational level) marketing campaigns including promotions for maximizing revenue potential and Gross Margin and cost management objectives.
  • To ensure all operational activities meet with Al-Futtaim corporate requirements for quality management, health & safety, legal stipulations, social responsibilities and general duty of care.

Required Skills to be successful:

Preferred Qualifications:

The job holder should have a minimum 5 years of automotive industry experience in an equivalent and/or senior role. GCC experience would be advantageous.

Job-Specific Skills: The job holder should have excellent business development, sales, customer relations and leadership skills. In addition, the job holder must communicate effectively with other senior managers, employees, partners and customers. Results oriented, entrepreneurial with strong problem solving, negotiation and decision making ability are key skills. Arabic language skills will be considered advantageous.
