The Total Rewards Specialist evaluates and analyzes the organizations total rewards strategy and aims to ensure employees are being rewarded fairly and in a way that amplifies an organization’s long-term goals. The incumbent research on total rewards trends, designs and develops the section philosophy and guidelines while ensuring that the pay practices comply with local wage and employment laws and are in line with overall organization strategy.

Additional duties assigned to this position: –

1. Provide comprehensive support on the annual reward processes, including compensation planning, salary range design, market benchmarking and compensation review.

2. Assess the organization’s pay and benefits structure and develop a cost effective and competitive package based on business goals and strategy.

3. Conduct complex analysis / modelling on a variety of Reward initiatives

4. Provide advice and recommendations to HRBPs and other stakeholders on any total rewards related matters (e.g. salary proposal, retention mechanism, market position analysis).

5. Review and provide recommendation in Total Rewards policies and process improvements.

6. Lead the annual salary survey activities as well as analyzing market data, reviewing and providing recommendations for the development of salary budgets for annual salary increase, promotions and salary adjustments

7. Provides regular support and general compensation consulting to HR Managers and Business Unit Managers in areas such as market pay and analysis and consulting on new roles

8. Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices to align compensation policies with the total rewards strategy

9. Ensure compliance with local wage and employment laws, including pay and benefits review and recommendations.

10. Lead the strategic compensation and benefits projects and initiatives for the entire organization

11. Analyzes different components of the total rewards scheme in the organization and prepares reports about internal equity and external competitiveness

12. Design policies to close gaps in the compensation of employees (introducing internal equity at affordable costs)

13. Conduct periodic audits, identify anomalies and implement corrective action
