About The Role

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR Team. This role will primarily be responsible for providing a range of HR Payroll services to the Qatar Airways Group and the role will be responsible for processing payroll transactions relating to all permanent and contractual staff accurately and in a timely manner. Optimize the contribution of the team by guiding the stake holders and implementing workable solutions to HR and Salary Admin related issues / problems raised by business units with minimum referral to the HR higher management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of HR services to employees from joining to expiry of contract and assisting in all matters relating to payroll matters.
  • Maintaining and process payroll records and reports for accounting of salary/wages, accruals, deductions and other HR and payroll functions.
  • Support the team in verifying and recording the payroll data, data entry of payroll documents, staff advances etc. to ensure accuracy
  • Oversee processing of payroll, check exceptions and court ordered deductions.
  • Enforces established payroll related policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Evaluates and develops changes to the payroll and computer systems and procedures.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues / team members to establish a cross functional unit.
  • Respond and communicate effectively to queries with regard to payroll policies and procedures raised by business units and employees.
  • Ensure and check routine calculations, salary figures entered in computer system prior to payroll closing.
  • Verify and validate new joiner files Validating critical documents in the New joiner files such as offer, SMA, NDA, Code of Ethics, Conflict of Interest Declaration, Acknowledgement of Compliance Policies, Service undertaking, Group Safety and Security Policy and any other ad hoc approvals
  • All other ad hoc reports / verifications provided to various stakeholders like HR Admin, HR Recruitment, HR Business support and various Line departments

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our HR Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.

  • Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • Good numerical skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Computer literate with through knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Fluent in English language, both written & oral.
  • Ability to work as a team member and organize work activities for other members of the team.
  • Strong time management & organization skills.
  • Willingness to learn and develop good interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Oracle HRMS exposure.
