To provide advice, opinion and services in handling litigation cases including representing QatarEnergy, QatarEnergy subsidiaries, QatarEnergy affiliates and the State of Qatar government bodies before courts and dispute resolution tribunals
Lead Counsels in providing legal opinion required in running the business and also to provide support services, in accordance with QatarEnergy ‘s Policies and applicable laws and regulations to the best interest of QatarEnergy
Requirements
12+ years of general legal practice
Eligible to practice Law in Qatar or any similar jurisdiction
Native Arabic speaker with a very good command of English
Excellent legal drafting and writing skills
Prior knowledge of boards and general assemblies’ secretariat activities
Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is highly advantageous
Education
Bachelor’s of Law (LLB) or equivalent from a recognized Arabic University, preferably Master’s Degree of Law
Eligible to practice Law in Qatar or any similar jurisdiction
