#Position: Procurement Officer
#Industry: Fragrances – Retail

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases, create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data, review and, services, and supplies.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts, ensure that the products and supplies are high quality,
  • Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Work with team members and procurement manager to complete duties as needed, liaising with internal project teams and maintaining strong supplier relations
  • Evaluating products and suppliers according to key business criteria, preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions
  • Preparing and issuing purchase orders and agreements. monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues and concerns,
  • Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items and resolving shortcomings, analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • Preparing reports and maintaining accurate inventory and procurement records, complying with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide timely logistical-related reports to CEO / Management and associated staff on a routine basis to include cost analysis.
  • Supply budgets/logistics Expenses, delivery time estimation and supplier evaluations. Maintain inventory, logistics freight, customs, and imports documentation & clearing.
  • Develop Logistics Planning & implementing procedures for effective execution of logistic operations.
  • Checking and Preparing procurement documentation and on the proper use of all procurement.
  • Work with the Production & Procurement team to coordinate day-to-day activities that lead to the completion of projects and tasks.
