WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager (Fitout) for High Rise Project Management projects in Qatar.

Your new role, what’s involved?

• Strong and sound knowledge of Architectural Design Management with fair knowledge of mechanical, and electrical instrumentation, interior design, and structural design.
• Having worked on reputable projects during the Construction phase to completion.
• Proven ability to perform key management and coordination roles.
• Sound knowledge of value engineering management.
• Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
• Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.
• Manage the review of key milestone deliverables for completion in relation to the quality of construction design.
• Ability to identify potential problems and be able to successfully and productively resolve problems or propose solutions.
• Ability to demonstrate time management skills and alignments of project objectives.
• Sound knowledge of Works Programme build-up, components, critical path review, and analysis.
• Analytical and numerate skills.
• Team building ability to motivate and to work well with large teams and show leadership skills.
• Experience in Microsoft applications and excellent reporting skills.
• Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other project management team members.
• Sound knowledge of Works Programme build-up, components, critical path review, and analysis.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• BSc/BEng in Civil or Architecture engineering; Chartered Engineer from a recognized professional body is preferable.
• Holding PMP certification or similar training certification.
• 20+ years of Design / Construction of large building projects, including 10 years in a similar role in Project Management, Construction, or Consultancy companies in the GCC region, including Fitout of prestigious projects.
• The ability to converse in technical matters across all disciplines associated with our Project Management and Construction Management projects.
• MME Registration is a requirement if currently located in Qatar
