Job Summary

The Accounting Manager ensures the integrity of the accounting, safeguards organizational assets and develops efficient business processes to record revenue, the financial reporting process and the monthly closing process. Fulfills revenue objectives and adhere to accounting and reporting policies. This includes reviewing and analyzing finances, ensuring compliance with regulations and refining reporting documentation. Responsible for overseeing certain contracts as it relates to financial reporting, leading strategic planning for accounting policies and maintaining internal controls over financial transactions.

Ensures accurate and timely monthly and annual closing of books of accounts

Reviews of all accounting transactions and payment proposals

Manages the financial reporting and financial statements analysis under IFRS

Manages Accounting related budgetary controls

Job Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Knowledge of IFRS

• Knowledge of financial reporting and general ledger structure

• Knowledge of Oracle ERP

• Knowledge of Operating and Capital Budget Concepts

• Knowledge and ability in the use of a personal computer and software applications (e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

• ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
