We are searching for an HR Specialist with a zest for the esports realm to join our family in Doha. This isn’t just an ordinary HR position – it’s a chance to shape and fuel the growth of one of the region’s most dynamic esports ventures. Reporting directly to the CEO, this pivotal position is an individual contributor role that will direct all Human Resources functions and act as a business partner to all department heads within Quest Esports.
- Talent Acquisition: Plan and execute effective talent strategies, including talent mapping, pipeline development, and end-to-end recruitment for all business groups globally. This includes developing job descriptions, sourcing, interviewing, securing approvals, and overseeing onboarding. Lead recruitment for all our verticals, including player signings and global accommodation arrangements.
- Strategy & Collaboration: Work closely with senior management to formulate and instate HR policies and practices aligned with the strategic growth and core values of Quest Esports.
- Employee Engagement: Champion initiatives to bolster employee engagement, ensuring our teams are aligned and motivated and delivering top-tier results.
- Organizational Development: Implement strategies and intervention plans to enhance organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and team cohesion.
- Event Participation: Represent Quest Esports at job fairs and recruiting events, spotlighting our commitment to attracting top talent.
- Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory; the role involves handling contracts and documents in both languages, necessitating a high proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking both languages.
- Professional Experience: At least 3 years in HR management in technology, gaming, or related industries. Experience in establishing or revamping HR departments will be viewed favorably.
- Industry Passion: A demonstrable understanding and passion for the esports industry, with a preference for candidates with professional experience in the esports or gaming industry.
- Adaptability: Proven ability to multitask and adapt in a high-paced environment, particularly in a startup or a growing company.
- Corporate Organizational Skills: We’re seeking candidates with experience in corporate settings, showcasing adept organizational and managerial skills.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels.
The position is based in Doha. Candidates must be either residing in Qatar or willing to relocate.
