OVERALL OBJECTIVES

The job of Lifeguard is executed satisfactorily when:

• CSS (Customer Satisfaction Survey) results are rated on an average with “5” and above.
• Swimming areas and surrounded in-land areas are supervised and well set up, clear of any hazardous and on a safe and comfortable environment for swimmers.
• Applies and create awareness about the health and safety rules, policies and guidelines for appropriate usage of Beach and Pool Area.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintaining constant surveillance of swimmers within the water swimming areas and surrounded in-land areas, such as deck, showers, lounging areas.
• Applies and create awareness about the health and safety rules, policies and guidelines for appropriate usage of Beach and Pool Area.
• Set up swimming areas and surrounded in-land areas, identifying potential hazardous and creating a safe environment for swimmers.
• Maintain appropriate physical and update registered training on life-saving techniques.
• Upkeep, clean and maintain lifeguard safety and emergency response items.
• Prepare required Lifeguard Reports on daily basis about potential hazardous and swimming areas conditions (weather, water temperature, PH, chlorine levels).
• Advise and warn colleagues and guests on appropriate places and conditions for swimming taking required measurements (using whistle, placing beach warning flags)
• Perform rescue operation in the event of a drowning or swimming accidents, and perform First Aid and CPR according to the demands of the adverse situation.
