What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide direction and management for medium-sized projects, or several small projects, and ensures on-schedule completion within or below budget in accordance with contractual obligations
• Responsible for the scope development, scope management and commercial performance of the project to meet project goals and objectives
• Plans and defines program goals and devises methods to accomplish them; develops in-depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies
• Manage the integration of engineering/technical aspects, as well as procurement and construction activities
• Lead external and internal coordination pertinent to sewerage, surface & ground water design, and construction

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University with Professional
• Qualifications from a recognized International Institution and with a professional career development
• Minimum 15 years of demonstrable experience, 5 years in project management in similar infrastructure, sewerage, surface & groundwater networks projects, and management of iinterfaces
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in managing operation in ECC (Emergency Command Center) during the rainy seasons in Qatar and review post-rainy event report and conduct presentation to top management
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in liaison and coordination with stakeholders, government authorities, Ministries, such as MOI, SCDL, Civil Defence, MOECC, KAHRAMAA, PEO etc.
• Experience and fully conversant with the procedures and standards of Public Works Authority
• The successful candidate should demonstrate proven fast track delivery of similar projects and strong proactive leadership skills
• Membership of an accredited Project Management Institution would be advantage
• Must have a strong leadership to lead project management team of inter disciplines and successful fast track delivery results
• The successful candidate should demonstrate proven experienced in the Projects close out clearances
• Knowledge and ability to understand, lead, make appropriate decision on the responsibilities to progress the work mentioned in each of the staff requirement responsibility
• Identify and effectively meet the requirements and expectations of the Engineer and the PWA
• Experience in the public awareness programme and other communication outreach activities such as review articles to inform the public in media
• Must be fluent in English and Arabic, both written and spoken, with an excellent capability in technical writing as well as oral and written communication skills and familiar with Qatari culture
• Experience working in the Gulf region is required
