Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain and coordinate the Interface register for timely approval
  • Support Interface Division Manager and Head of Interface(s) for coordination and follow-up for Interface activities and preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Support Interface Division Manager and Head of Interface(s) for external parties’ correspondences, filing and maintaining documents on SharePoint.
  • Undertakes various tasks and acts as a source of information for staff, and internal and external customers.
  • Sets situations/issues in the context of the entire team and has an appreciation of the wider relationships with other people and organizations.
  • Utilizes a systematic approach to problem-solving that ensures accuracy, timeliness, and quality of documentation in resolution.
  • Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight deadlines, high pressure, and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative, and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders in multiple international locations.
  • Supports management of several interfaces, interfering with each other’s and subject to different regulations and specifications.

Your Tasks

  • Maintains Project Interface Registers.
  • Tracking, follow up of Operations/Third Parties comments/resolution and maintaining status on Interface registers.
  • Day to day support to EPC Contractors, PMT and Operations Interface team for Interface Management Software related queries/resolution, assignment of responsibilities, etc.
  • Coordination with the Information Management team for document transfer through COMPANY Share drive & Lan folder links.
  • Ensure RLIC Technical Package submission documents through (QatarEnergy portal) through eFSM Link.
  • Provide leadership and accountability for the NFS Onshore Project with NFE EPC’s (EPC-1, EPC 2, EPC 3, and EPC 4 Contractors, NFS Offshore Contractors and other COMPANY Project Teams and COMPANY Groups.
  • Coordination of the Onshore interface activities between the Project team, Third Parties and other End-users operating within RLIC.
  • Supports scheduling of meetings, issue of minutes of meetings and supports close out of action items with interfacing organizations on a frequent basis, consistent with project needs.
  • Responsible for generating weekly and monthly Interface reports. Provides input to weekly management reports.
  • Attend Interface Weekly and Monthly meetings; attend to the Project Monthly Meeting with EPC Contractor. Ensure minutes of meetings are issued and steward close out of action including update of the Interfaces Registers and Databases.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in science or commerce
  • Must have 10 years minimum work experience in the Oil and Gas industry with Projects.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Document Controller/Technical Assistant with a Major project team.
  • Work experience in RLIC and other stakeholders is preferred.
  • Proficient in Information Technology (IT) skills.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and other industry-utilized databases.
  • Previous work experience with COMPANY (North or South) is an advantage.
  • Will need to work from various locations COMPANY Head Quarters in Doha, EPC Contractors site offices in Ras Laffan, COMPANY facility in Ras Laffan.
