We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Airline Duty Officer to join our team at the Doha location. As an Airline Duty Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our airline services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of airline services at the Doha location, ensuring adherence to safety, security, and customer service standards.
• Coordinate and monitor flight schedules, ensuring on-time departures and arrivals.
• Handle operational disruptions such as delays, cancellations, and diversions, and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders, including passengers, ground staff, and flight crews.
• Collaborate with various departments, including maintenance, crew scheduling, and ground operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, striving to provide a positive travel experience.
• Maintain accurate records of flight activities, incidents, and operational data.
• Monitor weather conditions and other external factors that could impact flight operations, making informed decisions to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in the training and development of junior staff members.
• Participate in regular briefings and debriefings to ensure effective communication and alignment within the team.

Qualifications:

• Must be a work visa holder or citizen eligible to work in Doha.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in aviation, business, or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in airline operations, ground handling, or related field preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software relevant to airline operations.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
