Role Purpose:
To lead technical teams working on digital channels development and operations. The person on the role is responsible for delivering Vodafone Qatar business requirements related to Mobile Applications, Portals, Chabot, and other digital channels and making operational activities of digital channels in DevOps model. In addition, role executes agile delivery calendar for non-digital telco channels.
This role will technically lead the discovery of new and emerging digital technologies and form a viable ecosystem of partners with a proven track record in delivering digital solutions for customers – from conceptualization to delivery to operations.
With us you will:
- Lead the digital channels development teams (onsite and offshore) to deliver Vodafone Qatar digital domain strategy and roadmap.
- Track team development activities and ensure implementation timelines are successfully achieved.
- Act as design authority for any domain-related solutions with cooperation of solution architects.
- Collaborate with business units to define and implement their digital ambitions by supporting their innovative products and first-class customer experience.
- Adopt Agile and DevOps best practices and inject them into the delivery DNA’s core.
- Manage current vendors working with Vodafone in the digital domain and support onboarding new vendors.
- Lead and provide required support on optimum budget spending for onsite/offshore workforce utilization in order to fulfil business requirements.
- Create and maintain capacity plans for all digital channels accommodated with business plans and forecast.
- Manage agile delivery streams of non-digital channels and perform any additional project, task or activities assigned/delegated by head of the department.
Skills
Apply if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS or a relevant major
- MBA/EMBA is an advantage
- 12+ years of relevant experience in Telecom or IT is including 7+ years in leading technical teams with in-depth technical knowledge of digital concepts and technologies.
- Experience in leading onsite or offshore development teams and operations.
- Expertise in Agile delivery and DevOps frameworks.
- Experience in vendor management and SLA agreements
- Experience in AI solutions delivery is an advantage.
