About The Role

Bartender – Luxury is responsible to ensure a positive guest interaction while serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. At all times, expected to be attentive to the guest needs and make them feel welcomed, comfortable and relaxed.

Key Accountabilities Include

• Greet guests, take beverage orders from the restaurant servers and/or directly from guests.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with Company standards.
• Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase or consumption of alcohol.
• Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests.
• Assist in preparing weekly/ monthly inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
• Serve beverage, snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar.
• Maintain a clean working area by sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning of workspace as required.
• Stock bar and maintain proper inventory, preparing mise-en-place for each shift.
• Provide guidance to guests in selecting beverage drinks
• Perform other department duties related to his/ her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications and Experience:

High School Qualification with a minimum 01 year of job-related experience or bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with No prior job-related experience

Essential

• At least two years of Bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Experience in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or related Bar training

EssentialJob Specific Skills:

• Possess good knowledge in coffee-making barista skills.
• At least two years of bartending experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Experienced in HACCP and quality assurance implementation or Related Bar Training
• Sound knowledge in creating new beverage recipe to boost sales
• Physical fit – Frequent walking, will stand for long periods of time, frequent lifts/carries up to 10kgs, occasionally lifts/carries up to 15kgs
• Computer Literacy
