About the job

As the E-commerce Content Specialist, you will be responsible for sustaining a high level of shopper conversion & experience within QDF eStore via developing & maintaining appealing & engaging content for the eStore visitors, keeping the QDF Product Catalogue & web-site pages up-to-date, securing completeness & timeliness of product information, and overseeing the involved 3rd party solution providers & their operations.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Track & implement product list & product information updates to keep the QDF Product Catalogue complete & up-to-date
  • Source assets & textual content from brands and/or oversee their creation/adaptation by agency partners/creative marketing team to provide high-quality Basic, Advanced & Rich eContent for online shoppers
  • Harmonize & enrich textual product content to maintain a high level of data clarity & accuracy within the QDF Product Catalogue
  • Develop and update product attribute specifications and QDF E-Content standards based on competitive research, benchmarks, and channel/category trends to keep QDF’s online offer relevant & appealing to customers
  • Perform PIM (Product Information Management) content & eShop engagement analytics to identify and action needs for improvement within area of responsibility
  • Liaise with the selected PIM provider to maintain a high level of service & up-to-date PIM configuration, oversee respective work-flows
  • Maintain & manage an up-to-date & effective pool of eContent & catalogue-related agencies for QDF in accordance with QDF’s procurement policies to ensure fast & cost-effective content sourcing
  • Assist in the development & implementation of non-product content, campaigns and landing pages within the eShop to provide the highest quality of shopping experience
  • Work closely with QDF’s eCommerce & Digital teams to support in the deployment of SEO and personalization
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

About you

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
  • Experience working with eContent: PIM (Product Information Management Software)/Product information & CMS (Content Management System)
  • Experience working in E-Commerce/Digital-related teams
  • Experience working with external parties (agencies, suppliers)
  • Experience working for an online retailer is preferred
  • Experience with Web analytics is preferred
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency
  • Fluent English
  • Understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Digital Shelf fundamentals
  • Understanding of UX (User Experience) & Customer Journey principles
  • Ability to establish efficient communication (both within the company & with external parties)
  • High level of ownership & professional independency
  • Structured & systematic approach to work
  • Great attention to detail and results-driven mindset
  • Understanding of online Content Optimization based on campaign deliverables is preferred
