The scope of activities will concern green field (new development), brownfield activities (on existing platforms) and integration works. The activities include the review and comment of engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with the design dossier, SOR, and Company specifications.

Major Projects involve the development of new offshore platforms, integration to the existing facilities, installation of subsea pipelines, and debottlenecking of existing functions, all these activities will be executed across several international sites. Projects involve complex interfaces with other entities of COMPANY.

Your Tasks

• Support MP Projects team in addressing the process and technical safety concerns and queries;
• Identify issues and blocking points related to Process & Safety Engineering Disciplines, define and manage clear way forward for these decisions to be made and track the execution within various packages;
• Act as focal point within EMT for all process and safety engineering subjects;
• Coordinate Weekly meetings with Process& Safety Engineering Teams to review technical issues and identify required supports from EMT;
• Define, follow up and evaluate the process and safety discipline studies to be carried out in the course of the project’ ensure the studies completed as per approved project gate and maturity index;
• Liaise with process and safety leads for various packages to identify/review the protentional deviations/derogations to the COMPANY to ensure deviation package is mature for CMS submission and approval;
• Identify any optimization/improvement in the design dossier to be implemented in the early stage of detailed design;
• Identify potential changes at EMT level, apply change management procedure and communicate the information to the packages;
• Work closely with Project Process & Safety Leads to plan, prepare and lead the disciplines kick-off meeting with EPC Contractor;
• Assist Process and Safety disciplines in preparation of project response to Contractor and Vendors request on engineering design clarifications and TQRs;
• Ensure that relevant feedback/lesson learned from previous similar projects are considered in the design performance;
• Assist in preparation and attend to project studies including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, Model review constructability review, PRs and other studies as directed by the Head of Engineering Support;
• Assist Projects in providing technical answers and clarifications to internal project audit sessions (PR, HAZID, etc);
• Assist Lead Engineering Methods to monitor the maturity index of Process & Safety Disciplines for the next to come technical reviews;
• Participate in weekly and monthly engineering meetings with Contractors, and in specific ad hoc meetings as required;

Your Profile

• Qualification: Degree in Process Engineering;
• Graduate engineer with a good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with at least 15 years’ experience of onshore/offshore oil & gas project;
• Offshore experience is required;
• Good knowledge of industry codes, standards and legislations on SHE aspect;
• Familiar with Oil & gas project organizations;
• Familiar with COMPANY & Total general specifications;
• Language: fluent English;
• Computer literate;
• Strong leadership skills and good communication skills;
• Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
