Purpose:

The role will encompass development and support across the current Tibco environment and the greater IT landscape. Support and further develop Tibco and relevant tools used across the entire domain.

Responsibilities,

• Develop Tibco code in all applicable projects and ensure that the integration tests are error–free and on time.
• Support the further development of tools for the Tibco environment
• Ensure Dev/Ops mentality within the team.
• Support Release Management Team and Service Virtualization Team
• Create new environments where required and support 3rd parties with connectivity.
• Where needed provide stubs/ io documentation to relevant teams who consume/require tibco services.
• Where needed provide 3rd line RCA on Tibco PRD issues.
• Ensure timely and error-free SIT testing and communicate the closure/key escalations to relevant stakeholders (From all business units)
• Provide periodic reports related to all SIT activities.

Skills

Technical (job-related) & non-technical:

• Proven experience in Tibco Products – BPM, ActiveMatrixx.BusinessWorks. Tibco Event processing etc.
• Capable of working at high-level solution architecture, as well as delving in low-level details if required.
• Working knowledge in Java, Unix, Shell Scripting, Perl, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL.
• Proven experience in estimating development efforts.
• Proven experience with SSH/TLS Certificates
• Proven Experience with Jenkins, GIT, Monitoring Tools, and Automation scripting.
• Hands-on experience with protocols such as SOAP, XML, SMPP, HTTP, DNS HTTPS
• Hands-on experience of gateways.
• Hands-on experience with mobile and enterprise test automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of the following core concepts: CRM, Online charging, billing flows, policy control, AAA, Roaming, Provisioning, Digital as well as other customer channels.
• Quick learner and can work well when under pressure
• A pro-active and independent working style.
• Excellent presentation skills and a clear communicator.
• Highly developed organizational skills (strong multi-tasking capabilities).

Minimum Experience & Essential Knowledge

• 12 years of total experience in the engineering field at least 5 of which must be within a similar role where Development plays a significant part
• Proven knowledge and expertise in Tibco Development
• Expertise in establishing Dev/Ops mentality i.e. GIT Jenkins etc etc
• Bachelor’s in Telecoms Engineering, Computer Science or IT
