A PPP (Public-Private Partnership) personnel is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the partnership between a public sector entity (PWA) and the Project Company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the PPP project.
  • Develop risk management plans and other relevant documentation to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time and on-budget completion of tasks.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of processes, systems, and overall project performance.
  • Manage client’s requests related to change of design, additional works and rectification of vandalism incidents.
  • Manage life cycle planning and execution.
  • Prepare monthly reports and ensure management progress update.

Contract Management:

  • Ensure adherence to the terms and conditions of the PPP contract, including performance monitoring, reporting, and compliance with health, safety, environmental and legal requirements.
  • Manage and resolve any contractual disputes or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular contract reviews and renegotiations as necessary, in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

Financial Management:

  • Manage project budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Oversee the invoicing process and ensure timely receipt of payments from the government and payments to contractors.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to update financial feasibility study and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Stakeholder Management

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including government officials, private partners, contractors, and school administrators to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Effectively communicate project updates, issues, and milestones to all relevant parties.
  • Address and resolve any stakeholder concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering/Business Management or Equivalent from an accredited university with internationally recognized professional credentials in PPP.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PPP.
