Your new role, what’s involved?

  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to create and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout all project phases.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to address and mitigate them effectively.
  • Regularly assess project progress against established timelines and milestones, promptly addressing any delays or deviations.
  • Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the highest standards and adheres to all relevant regulations and codes.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide timely and accurate project status reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and project milestones.
  • Oversee the preparation and administration of contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all parties comply with contractual obligations.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering. Preferably with a 2-year postgraduate degree in engineering management /management and PgMP or PMP certification.
  • Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in planning and scheduling both engineering and construction activities with a minimum of 07 years in a managerial role.
  • Experienced in the design and construction of large-scale building projects including super rise towers.
  • Experience in the application of Primavera P6, claim Digger, Schedule Analyzer, and other presentation software like MS Office, VISIO, and Crystal Reports.
  • Through knowledge in industry practices and regulations.
  • Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.
