Job Objectives

  • Drive revenue growth by effectively managing existing telecom accounts, focusing on client retention, and renewals,and achieving upselling and cross-selling sales targets.
  • Expand the organization’s footprint in the telecom industry by acquiring new clients, penetrating new markets,and diversifying lines of business.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with key telecom digital solution vendors and solution providers to enhance service offerings and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
  • Collaborate with the Business Unit Head to align strategies, set ambitious targets, and drive the achievement of business goals in the telecom practice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams executing delivery of telecom engagements to ensure full alignment with customer and best practices in delivery.
  • Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by delivering value-added solutions, exceeding client expectations, and consistently providing outstanding service throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Focus on existing telecom accounts: Proactively manage and nurture relationships with our telecom clients to understand their unique requirements and exceed their expectations.
  • Customer relationship and engagement: Cultivate strong and enduring partnerships by fostering open communication, trust, and collaboration with key stakeholders in the telecom industry.
  • Development and value addition: Continuously seek opportunities to provide value-added solutions that address specific telecom challenges, optimize operations, and drive business growth.
  • Ideate and innovate: Collaborate with telecom clients to generate innovative ideas, tailor-made solutions, and strategic roadmaps that align with their business objectives.
  • Account farming: Strategically expand and nurture existing telecom accounts by identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, leveraging deep industry knowledge, and understanding.
  • Building strong relationships: Build enduring relationships across various levels, functions, and departments within telecom organizations, including IT, Marketing, Procurement, Delivery, and executive leadership etc. and cutting across the levels.
  • Building Capabilities for Account Renewal: Continuously assess and understand telecom clients’ evolving needs and challenges, and proactively provide innovative solutions and strategic guidance to ensure their sustained engagement and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to leverage organizational capabilities, industry expertise, and emerging technologies to deliver exceptional value and foster long-term partnerships with telecom clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations on the most suitable service offerings, technologies, and solutions that align with their business objectives and drive operational excellence.

Job RequirementsEducational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent MBA (desired)
  • A master’s degree in business studies is highly desirable.
  • Should show evidence of continued education in the field of Sales and Technology
  • Previous Work Experience
  • Extensive 15-20 years of experience selling end-to-end digital telecom solutions with a proven track record of successfully managing large accounts independently.
  • Strong expertise in the telecom digital space.
  • Including selling and enabling digital telecom services and solutions to meet customer requirements and drive digital channel growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance digital channels such as mobile applications, websites, and e-commerce shops, focusing on customer self-service and enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Experience in managing internal digital transformation initiatives within organizations, driving upselling and cross-selling opportunities to vendors and partners to enhance digital capabilities and offerings, is a plus.
  • Related experience in selling consulting services related to mobile apps, e-shops, and other digital solutions, with a focus on driving revenue and adding value to telecom clients, is a plus.
  • Previous selling experience in the EMEA region, showcasing the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders such as marketing, IT, and B2B, to expand and diversify the telecom portfolio and explore new lines of business.
  • Proven track record of successfully closing both large-scale deals and high-volume transactions, demonstrating the ability to effectively sell and manage accounts across different deal sizes.
