The Head of Graphics will be responsible for leading and overseeing the graphic design team, driving the creative vision and ensuring the delivery of visually stunning and impact design solutions. This role will be crucial in enhancing our clients’ brand identities, creating engaging marketing collateral, and contributing to the overall success of our digital campaigns. The Head of Graphics will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and products, to translate ideas into compelling visual experiences.
- Provide visionary leadership and set the creative direction for the graphic design team. Inspire the team to develop innovative and high-quality design concepts that align with content strategy, clients’ objectives, and brand guidelines.
- Develop and implement a design strategy that supports our original content and clients’ digital marketing goals. Collaborate with marketing and account management teams to understand client requirements and create design solutions that resonate with their target audience.
- Manage a team of graphic designers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment that encourages growth and continuous learning.
- Oversee multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritise tasks, set timelines, and allocate resources effectively.
- Ensure consistency in brand identity across all design materials. Create visual assets and design templates that maintain the brand’s visual language and guidelines.
- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, and final artwork before client delivery. Ensure that all designs meet the highest standards of quality and align with the project objectives.
- Stay abreast of design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Implement innovative design techniques to elevate the company’s creative offerings.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and products teams to incorporate design elements into various digital campaigns, websites, social media, and other marketing channels.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations, effectively communicating design concepts and rationale behind creative decisions. Address client feedback and incorporate changes into the design process.
- Utilise data and feedback to measure the effectiveness of design solutions. Make data-driven decisions to optimise design performance and enhance the impact of our campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital marketing materials and design projects.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, managing a team of graphic designers and leading creative projects.
- Fluency in English (both spoken and written) is a must.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design), Sketch, or similar tools.
- Thorough understanding of design principles, colour theory, typography, and layout.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and how design can impact user engagement and conversion rates.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Passion for design, creativity, and staying updated with the latest design trends and technologies.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
- QID/visa (NOC should be readily available).
