Job Scope

The Cloud Consultant is accountable for managing the post-sales activities by proactively assessing solution specifications in light of changing customer requirements. S/He designs, plans, implements and analyzes on-premises or cloud solution for migration and provides solution to customers.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Run, manage and drive proof of concepts (POC) and request for proposals (RFP) and close opportunities from a presales and implementation perspective;
• Implement and integrate Azure Cloud based platform;
• Review, modify and improve existing systems on a regular basis;
• Design, develop and deploy modular cloud-based systems;
• Develop and maintain cloud solutions according to best practices;
• Ensure the efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with the company security policies and best practices;
• Identify, analyze and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues;
• Collaborate with the engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions;
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support and raise recommendations based on client needs;
• Design, plan and implement on premises/Azure Infrastructure solutions (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS);
• Maintain and update technical qualifications to provide intensive technical consulting to prospective customers and channel partners;
• Lead technical sales calls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or any other related field
• At least 3 to 4 years of relevant experience
• Microsoft Certified Azure
• Exposed to virtualization and cloud technologies
• Exposed to Openstack- DC-DR solutions
