Position

The Sr Marketer is responsible for the origination, marketing and sales (or purchase) of basic chemical products representing the front face for QatarEnergy (Muntajat) to global clients.

• Responsible for new business development and marketing and selling of Caustic Soda, EDC, VCM in accordance with approved Sales Plans and the long term Annual Corporate Plan
• Negotiate contracts for the sale of Caustic Soda, EDC, VCM in accordance with pre-agreed pricing and contracting principles
• Product evacuation: Ensure efficient and effective product sales to avoid tank tops and/or distressed sales

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 10 years of professional work experience with 8 years of experience in petrochemical marketing, trading and/or sales management, customer relationship management and managing/directing commercial operations.
• Experience with Basic Chemicals (Caustic Soda, EDC, VCM)
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business/Commerce (Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, etc.) or in the field of Engineering (with relevant experience in marketing and sales)
