About the job
- Prepares Procurement Master Plan in coordination with the Subsidiaries Group and administers procurement activities in accordance with the approved procurement processes and procedures.
- Coordinates with end users to prepare tenders, tender packages, RFQ’s for contractors, suppliers and consultants.
- Reviews and makes suggestions on the tender packages submitted by the end users.
- Ensures all required documents are submitted to the P&C department to enable them to proceed with the procurement activities
- Evaluates contracts and vendors; supports Procurement & Contracts team to take final decisions regarding suppliers.
- Supports and coordinates with the Subsidiaries Group to prepare technical and financial evaluation reports for received proposals.
- Represents Procurement-:Subsidiaries Group team at project meetings and has the ability to deal effectively with proper decision-making levels.
- Provides support and assistance in the training of End-user teams on procurement processes.
Job Specific Skills And Abilities
- Strong knowledge about best practices in procurement, contractual negotiations and vendor management
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and support procurement in maintaining compliance with legal standards.
- Strong knowledge in Industrial and Trading procurement practices
- Demonstrated experience in a computerized ERP environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Fluency in written and spoken English
