Job Responsibilities

• Review the Range Plan filled by the buyer against the Order Confirmation or Invoice.
• Assist buyers in raising POs as per the buy plan and in accordance with the process.
• Upload the Item Master, Purchase Order & Selling in the system.
• Work with finance & logistics team to tally invoices against PO (report short/extra/excesses) & credit notes for returns.
• Make sure that the integrity of data is always maintained, and any anomalies are reported/corrected.
• Identify fast movers & slow movers timely to take timely informed decision so as to maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Based on the performance of the product suggest re-pricing, markdowns, promotions to buyers and managers.
• Assist the buyers in ensuring timely stock reorders/returns to suppliers whenever needed

• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment and to quickly identify problems and recommend solutions
• Ability to work well as part of a team and to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people
• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand what will appeal to customers
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics or similar
• 1-2 years’ experience as a Merchandising Assistant
