Job Description:

Ø Welcome clients to the wellness center and engage them in conversation to determine the services that they need.

Ø Deliver a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages) in a safe and comfortable manner.

Ø Consultation with clients to determine of an illnesses or medical conditions that they may have which will keep them from taking proper benefit from massage treatments.

Ø Explain massage procedure and provide information about oils and creams used during massage.

Ø Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products.

Ø Keep documentation and maintain clients’ files.

Ø Keep a clean and stocked room.

Ø Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations.

Ø Suggest and promote retail products or additional services.

Ø Apply best practices and be up to date with market trends.

Ø Uphold the standards of hygiene and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.

Ø Maintain a constructive attitude towards guests, co-team player and quality work environment.

Ø Help in all areas of wellness center operation as requested by organization.

Required Skills:

Ø Proven relevant working experience.

Ø Hands on experience in massage techniques, and face/body therapies

Ø Basic computer knowledge

Ø Team player and flexible for long working hours (when needed)

Ø Have an enthusiasm, communication and possess superb customer service skills.

Ø Experience in sales will be considered an asset.

Ø Excellent knowledge of English language or other secondary languages

Ø Positive attitude

Trainings and Work experience:

• Vocational certificates in anatomy and physiology or massage therapy related courses
• Certificates from recognized professional bodies for massage therapy or training center, qualifications are awarded including the Training International Therapy Examination Council (ITEC), CIBTAC or its equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years work experience as massage/spa therapist from reputable spas or massage centers.
