Reporting directly to the Managing Director, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Sales Manager – New Equipment Business to be based in our Qatar office. In this role, you will lead and guide the sales team in order to meet strategic targets by setting sales goals & quotas, build a sales plan, analyze data, assign sales training and sales territories and mentor the members of the team.

The Sales Manager – New Equipment Business at KONE focuses on creating customer trust, value and loyalty and hence we are looking for somebody with a proven track record of being a go-getter and understands how to partner and collaborate with the business. We need someone who has the ability to influence, is result driven and has a strong commercial acumen.

What you will do?

  • Full Accountability for developing KONE’s position and customer base in existing and new markets;
  • Proactive engagement and solution selling strategies ensuring focus on Kone’s digital solutions;
  • Ensures development of customer relationships and Key Account Management strategies;
  • Identifies and personally builds relationships to key decision makers, potential new targets, and influencers;
  • Undertake overall market and customer analysis to ensure quality of sales planning, product offerings and pricing;
  • Strong understanding of construction markets and competitor strategies to ensure KONE always stays one step ahead;
  • At all times ensure professionalism and relevance in customer tenders and proposals;
  • Responsible for identifying opportunities for cross-selling of all KONE solutions;
  • Ensure CRM systems are fully adopted and are accurate to support sales decision making;
  • Lead the sales team to be proactive and professional with customers and collaboration with internal colleagues;
  • Coach the team members to achieve better results through constant one to one dialogue and sharing of best practices;
  • Be motivational & inspire team & individual to high performance.

Are you the one?

  • Diploma qualification or higher and Management Development Program will be advantageous;
  • 8 – 10 years’ experience in one of the following: Sales Management / Sales Forecasting / Sales Budgeting;
  • Technical background in the construction and building material with experience in the elevator/escalator industry preferred;
  • Experience on CRM tools and MS Office is a must;
  • Highly motivated, goal oriented, diligent, organized self-starter with an orientation towards a high level of customer service;
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data to draw conclusions and identify patterns;
  • Ability to bring people together and to be able to lead by example;
  • Passion for sales, with a proven track record and a strong customer focus;
  • Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
