Job Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for managing the Human Resources function in the Hospital, including general HR Operations, Employee Relations, implementation of Learning & Development, and other HR matters related to staffing plans, performance management, and implementation of policies and procedures. He/she will functionally report to the Cluster HR Director (CHRD) to coordinate HR matters to ensure productivity and efficiency through a high-quality hospital workforce. He/she will oversee and support the HR professionals at TVH with their operational tasks and responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities 1
Coordinates with Management in planning staffing needs and in, setting HR objectives and tracking progress in coordination with CHRD. Responsible for the smooth running of the HR department within the Hospital. Performs all functions of the Human Resources department in the Hospital and provides HR support and counseling to managers, directors, and employees. Performs other related tasks as assigned by the CEO and/or Cluster HR Director. Monitors internal HR systems and databases in the Hospital and ensures the integrity of HR data. Ensures that, legally, the Hospital is aligned with the Qatari labor laws regarding workplace rules, employee treatment, and other applicable matters. Implements HR Hospital and Corporate policies and procedures and ensures their dissemination and communication within the Hospital
Job Responsibilities 2
Reviews and proposes revisions to HR Hospital and Corporate policies and procedures, as needed, in line with legislative changes and best practices, and cooperation with the CHRD. Ensures that the staff is sufficiently acquainted with the Hospital policies and procedures. Supports the managers in delivering a positive onboarding experience to their new team members. Tracks HR Operations KPIs and devises plans and initiatives for improvement. Supports staff and management in staff satisfaction, workplace culture, and overall well-being. Implements conflict resolution training and policies to prevent and/or resolve issues between employees and/or with management.
Coaches managers on conflict resolutions and handling employee issues to increase productivity and boost employee morale. Maintains an employee complaint process, investigates employment-related claims and handles employee grievances.
Additional Responsibilities
Coordinates with Cluster HR Department regarding recruitment, onboarding, government affairs, employee relations, learning, and development. Coordinates employees’ outings, awards banquets, and recognition ceremonies, as applicable. Builds and sustains a positive employer-employee relationship. Conducts exit interviews in collaboration with the Employee Relations team, looking for feedback from the exiting employee on how to create a better work environment and employee experience for the current and future employees. Ensures the employee returns to company property, during the Offboarding process, in collaboration with the Employee Relations team. Helps the Hospital achieve its staff planning goals for attracting and selecting the best candidates. Manages internal communication projects, including dissemination of policies and job satisfaction surveys. Assists Management in developing their teams and managing talent, ensuring that employees have the appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to meet current and future business requirements. Works closely with the management team to ensure workforce efficiency.
Job Knowledge and Skills
Strong understanding of best practice HR Management theories. Working knowledge of HR functions. Strong Knowledge of the Healthcare industry Comprehensive knowledge of the Accreditation Process. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills. Decision Maker. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with the Qatari Labor Law. Computer literacy. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills to deal effectively with all levels of staff
Job Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience as an HR Generalist. 5 years of experience in HR Operations (recruiting, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits admin, and compliance). Minimum 3 years in GCC (preferred).
Education
Master’s degree in business administration or human Resource Professional Qualification in Human Resources or SPHRi.
