As a DJ & Entertainment Manager, you will be responsible for connecting with listeners, arranging playlists, taking music requests, and generating interest. A DJ plays musical recordings, in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests by expressing an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
• Maintain cleanliness of work area in accordance with local and company standards
• The ability to select the right tracks that would please the crowds and the ability to mix songs
• Playing two tracks without breaks into one another to provide smooth transitioning music
• Choose music to suit your audience and the venue’s music policy
• Create your own sounds by manipulating beats, using samples, adding extra music and sound effects
• Operating across many genres
• Familiarity with classic and recent music outputs
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Well-honed research, improvisation, and time management abilities
