In supporting our Middle-Eastern clientele, one of the energy sector’s biggest players has provided Ably Resources with an opportunity to fill an exciting Head of Events position to be based in our client’s Doha office.

Working as part of our client’s public relations team you will strive to lead and oversee the strategic evaluation and assessment of event requests/proposals with clear alignment to the corporate business and brand direction, ensuring all such events run smoothly and professionally with timely execution.

You will be responsible for managing and continually training a team of event management specialists who will be directly involved in all activities pertaining to event evaluation, proposal, and requests, leading the team for all negotiations related to the participation and sponsorships of our client’s event to ensure the maximizing of their interests.

Our client will offer the ultimately successful professional a salary of 35,000 to 45,000 Qatari Royal per month + benefits based on the candidate’s last billed salary and experience, with an opportunity for both a permanent position and a renewable contract.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Marketing, or equivalent qualifications
• 10 years of related experience in a major oil and gas company
• Excellent proficiency in both English and Arabic languages (spoken and written)
