Ooredoo is entering a new phase in its lifecycle where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success. The urgency for change has become more heightened amidst increased competitive intensity across all markets in which Ooredoo operates. The Group’s ESS transformation programme must therefore ensure the successful delivery of the transformation in context of:
- Alignment of the Program objectives with the overall Ooredoo strategy
- Rapidly changing ICT environment
- Management of executive and shareholder expectations across the OpCos throughout the transformation
- Management of employee, customer and supplier expectations
- Constant dynamics and local challenges in the economic, regulatory and legal environments
This position will work with the Ooredoo Group Leadership Team, the OpCo CEOs and direct reports, the Specialist Implementation & Migration will be accountable for the successful delivery of ESS Transformation Program by alignment of implementation and migration strategies across the OpCos. The program aims to implement a unified way of working across Finance, Sourcing and Human Resources with clear roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency.
The role will ensure a coordinated approach throughout Ooredoo, enabling Ooredoo operations to execute their mandates effectively.
Role Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the end to end implementation & migration of the ESS system including (system design, implementation, and testing)
- Participate in business design workshops and provide technical guidance on how the system can meet the needs of the business whilst ensuring compliance with architecture principles and adherence to best practices
- Support the technical design activities and ensure full alignment between the Group and OpCo teams
- Support the development of the ESS solution as per the business design including any customization of the in-scope components (including Reports, Conversion, Extension, Forms, Workflows) and conduct all development activities
- Conduct design review of the test strategy and ESS test plan, for functional and non-functional testing and conduct all test management and execution activities
Experience & Qualifications
- 8 years of Mitigation & Implementation Experience
- Minimum 3 years of IT Transformation and ERP experience
- Experience in SAP technologies like ECC, S4HANA, SAAS, ABAP, BRF+, Fiori, BTP, SAC or Oracle Fusion, EBS
- Experience on integrating legacy applications with SAP landscape
- Familiarization in SAP cloud integration platforms
- Proven experience in making organization adopt to new technologies
- Proven experience in building standards and tools
- Understanding of the dev-ops delivery model
- Ability to review design documents, critique architecture recommendations from other SMEs
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders with diverse and divergent business needs, resolves conflicts and bring alignment towards a common and robust design in system.
- Clear, concise business communication and experience conducting business requirements workshops with business users.
- Extensive knowledge of software engineering from ground up or extensive knowledge of the technical services in the specific area and operations around them
- Strong knowledge of how to lead and motivate in a large-scale IT organisation with both people and technology focus
- High level of energy and creativity for transformation, willingness to go the extra mile
