Our client in Qatar is looking to hire Service Engineer/Technician (Electrical) – Electrical Submersible Pump Motors (E job).

Requirements:

BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

3 to 5 years of experience in similar position preferably working with OEM or reputed service centers.

Experience with servicing Electrical submersible motor pumps (ESP’s), rewinding, cable splicing, functional testing, startup & installation on site. Experience carrying out full DCI (Dismantle, Clean & Inspection) of the ESP’s.

Strong knowledge in various electrical tests to be carried out on the motor – Insultation Resistance, Winding resistance, Surge test etc. Strong knowledge in the rewinding of the submersible electric motors. Must have trouble-shooting experience with ESP’s.

Experience carrying out all pre-commissioning checks and tests to ensure successful start-up and continuous operation of ESP Equipment. The ability to collect information during testing and inspection to provide customers with recommendations on equipment status.
