Job Description:

The Four Seasons Doha Serviced Apartments is looking for IRD Assistant Server to join our talented pre-opening team! Essential Functions:

  • Greet guests by name, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards
  • Breakdown, clean and set-up of room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals
  • Take guest orders in the absence of order taker
  • Plate and prepare small food items
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management
  • Assist with service of food items
  • Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas
  • Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed
  • Assist to clean private bars, private bar carts and storerooms.
  • Able to stock and replenish ice for guest rooms.
  • The ability to respect the privacy of all guest rooms.
  • The ability to keep breakage of items to a minimum.
  • The ability to report any unusual incidents, persons or items found or seen on the guest floors.
  • The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • In Room Dining Assist Server assist the server to transports food orders and amenities including any special needs and/or requests to the guest in room in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
  • Greet guests and be able to provide thorough description of food and beverage items.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in related field
  • Excellent command in English, Arabic is an advantage
  • Service Passion for Luxury Hospitality and have an eye for details.
