About the role

You will provide IT solution architecture design for the assigned systems. Your activities involve creating solution architecture blueprints for the assigned system, prioritizing work program, defining standards for design and development, reviewing requirements including Non-functional requirements, reviewing solution and managing risks across projects/programs, to ensure timely delivery within quality and budget.

You will play a key role in driving innovation; creating a digital strategy for the Line of Business and aligning business and IT strategy, in defining and implementing technical solutions for business problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of native and hybrid Mobile Applications on IOS
• Drive the identification and implementation of all NFR aspects related to iOS development
• Define the technology roadmap of iOS applications within QR
• Lead and mentor iOS developers to ensure technical excellence in development of iOS applications
• Conduct architecture, solution design & code review of iOS applications.
• Ensure best practices related to UI components, performance, security, device resource utilization are leveraged to provide optimal app performance.
• Participate and aid in recruitment of iOS developers based on project requirements.
• Design and build applications for Apple devices on the iOS platform with both Objective-C and Swift
• Own the re-usable component repository for the organization
• Lead and mentor the iOS chapter
• Identify opportunities for innovation
• Conduct POCs based on upcoming feature in iOS and recommend to the project teams

Knowledge, Skill and Experience

• Bachelor Degree with minimum 8 years of job related experience OR Diploma with minimum 7 years of job related experience years.
• Minimum 6 years of experience on technical and solution architecture of iOS applications
• Good knowledge of iOS architecture, future roadmap and iOS APIs.
• Understanding of MDM capabilities & Apple Business Manager.
• Experience and understanding of adaptive and responsive applications
• Experience in cross platform technologies like Flutter/React native is preferable.
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools & instrumentation.
• Experience developing UI (User Interface) and backend components of iOS apps.
• Good understanding of Apple Network and core Bluetooth frameworks
• Proven work experience in design patterns of mobile architecture using frameworks such as MVVM/MVC/VIPER
• Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Experience with GCD, Core Data, Core Animation, and other IOS frameworks.
• Past experience as lead architect of major app iOS development
• Good understanding of analyzing crash events and tracking user activities in iOS app.
• Good understanding and experience in integration of back end services ( Restful/ GraphQL etc)
