With our continuous growth, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exclusive and exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Quality Assurance Team in Doha as a Lead Cargo Quality Assurance Officer.

The role will be responsible for supporting the Business Continuity Plan activities to ensure it is properly implemented and maintained across all areas of the operation under QR Cargo accountability as well as conduct, follow up and close audits.

Some Of The Tasks Include

• Conduct audits, inspections and assessments of airports to identify hazards, non-compliances and areas requiring improvement to ensure that cargo operations quality and standards are maintained at all times to meet safety, security, and quality objectives.
• Prepare internal departments and external stakeholders for audits and inspections.
• Support Cargo Quality Assurance Manager to manage follow up of non-compliances/ observations to ensure adequate closure, track deadlines, provide frequent updates to management, manage the audit database and dashboards, and ensure adequate record keeping.
• Study, evaluate and assess standards of facilities, equipment, operations, product, process, specifications and other related matters to ensure quality, safety or security standards associated with QR Cargo Operations are met.
• Develop or revise procedures and documentation to ensure compliance and effective understanding by operations personnel.

About you

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant quality assurance experience within the air cargo/ airfreight industry / ground handling agents (GHAs)
• Good experience in auditing cargo operations, aviation security and ground handling operations
• Strong knowledge of quality management system and safety management systems
• Strong command of the English language
• Analytical with high- level problem solving and decision- making skills
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills as well as stakeholder management skills
