Job Summary

To direct the day-to-day financial activities of the organization; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure.
  • Coordinate, analyze, and report the financial performance to Management and the Board of Directors (financial performance, projections, and other special projects as required).
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties.
  • Implement a robust contracts management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the contract billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
  • Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the senior leadership team abreast of the organization’s financial status.
  • Analyze and classify risks and investments to determine their potential impacts on companies.
  • Evaluate financial reporting systems, accounting and collection procedures, and investment activities, and make recommendations for changes to procedures, operating systems, budgets, and other financial control functions.
  • Establish procedures for custody and control of assets, records, loan collateral, and securities, to ensure safekeeping and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices.

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of risk management frameworks and the operation, reporting, and management of risk and internal controls.
  • Thorough understanding of general accounting principles and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience in full cycle accounting.
  • Knowledge and operation of audit frameworks.
  • Knowledge of final responsibility for the quality and content of all financial data, reporting, and audits.
  • Budgeting and financial planning experience.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Application along with Accounting/Finance.
  • ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.

Job Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of total experience
  • 10 years of industry-related experience
  • A minimum of 3 years in GCC is preferred.
  • Mandatory Industry Specific experience working with Malls.
