This is an exciting time to be part of GEMS Wellington School – Qatar (WSQ). Due to the continued growth, success and ambitious nature of the school, we are delighted to be looking for a dynamic, hard-working and talented Media Teacher to join our secondary English team.

We are seeking an inspirational teacher to join a team of dedicated specialists providing a world-class education to our students. Candidates should have a passion for both Media Studies and English with a proven track record of outstanding practice. They must possess a commitment to helping our students achieve their maximum potential and have experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE Media Studies along with English up to GCSE/IGCSE. As part of our continuous growth, it is our aim to offer BTEC Creative Media / A Level Media in the near future.

The successful candidate will have:

• A certified teaching qualification and an accompanying degree such as B.Ed., PGCE, QTS
• At minimum 2 years of recent and demonstrable teaching experience across Secondary School, including GCSE and A Level, at a British Curriculum School
• Confidence in teaching the NCfE framework
• The desire to provide Outstanding teaching and learning
• The aspiration to work in a world-class school with real prospects for enhancing their career
