Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in Contract Management within EPC environment, large-size projects

Dispute Resolution/Settlement Experience

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in related engineering major is preferred

Knowledge

Professional in EPC Contracts, risk management, relationships, and so on.

Cognizance of Oil & Gas Industry project contracting schemes

Excellent communication and management skills with proven ability of leadership.

Highly skilled in drafting formal, contractual documents and communications

Good knowledge of Construction law is preferred

Knowledge of oil/gas/petrochemical or power plant issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated.

Job Specific Specialty

Project Execution

Assume responsibility for the performance of all contract-related tasks for the successful completion of the project.

Initiate a contract review session, including risk analysis.

Establish overall contract execution strategies in line with the Company policies and contractual responsibilities.

Analyze project contract risks and prepare mitigation plans outlining timing, actions, and other considerations required.

Review all statutory approval statuses in accordance with the contract requirements.

Monitor all official communication with the client, subcontractors and others involved in the project.

Attend regular meetings with the client assisting the project manager with contractual aspects in discussing major changes in the work and resolving any outstanding issues among the client, vendors, subcontractors, and the Company and record the minutes of the meetings if necessary.

Facilitate regular and ad hoc report system on the overall contract status to the management of the Company, including the PM team and Contract Management Team on regular basis.

Facilitate contract administration procedure stipulated in the Contract;

Contract maintenance and change control;

Notice periods, contract closure, or termination;

Commercial management; e.g. budget and actual cost monitoring;

Payment process;

Contract management resource management and planning;

Manage contractual aspects of Subcontracts and major Purchase Orders to assure their conformance with the contract specifications and requirements in consultation with the legal counsel.

Maintain awareness of a full range of factual data concerning the project schedule, cost and other vital project variables in the project.

Share insights on contractual issues with the PM team, Contract Management Team and external consultants.

Ensure that the Contract is communicated to all the relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness to support implementation.

Prepare contract amendments when required.

Liaise regularly with Home Office Contract Management Team
