About The Role

As a Technical Officer Civil, you will be responsible for helping us achieve the following:

• The Technical Officer (Civil) will lead a team of supervisors, technicians, outsourced vendors and FM Contractors to undertake all preventive/corrective maintenance as well as supervision of new project works which includes inputs on design, site supervision/management and review of drawings, proposals, method statements, risk assessment and material submittals.
• Plan, Organize and supervise the operation & maintenance of civil and structural assets.
• Perform Quality Assurance audit on completed CM & PM.
• The Technical Officer will participate in the training and handover process for all new facilities and systems pertaining to his area of responsibility and any additional task assigned by the senior management.
• To plan, schedule and implement a regular inspection regime for all civil equipments and infrastructure;
• To plan and execute all annual equipment/infrastructure audits;
• To initiate work improvement projects;
• Ensure all works and processes abide by all building and safety regulations;
• Manage and maintain equipment, materials and tools inventories for his department;
• Manage and maintain records of all works, timesheets, attendance leave and training records;
• Assist in the planning of the annual budgeting process for Civil assets related AMC/OPEX/CAPEX.
• Train employees in the duties;
• Perform other department duties related to the position as directed by management;

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree OR Equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of job-related.
• Experience in the maintenance of buildings and building inspections.
• A degree in civil engineering with relevant work experience in a similar capacity is preferred.
