About the role

As an Inflight Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining day to day administrative and personnel services in order to meet requirements and support operations of respective departments within Customer Experience Division. You will report to the Manager Customer Care — Inflight Services, working closely with QR Corporate Customer Care administration and support teams. Your responsibility will include assistance with preparation of personnel administration, purchasing and maintenance of office items for Customer Care Inflight Services in addition to support the delivery of QR Corporate Customer Care administration support tasks. Additionally, you will respond to correspondence within and outside the Department and receive tasks from the Manager Customer Care — Inflight Services as and when necessary.

Other key responsibilities are:

  • Answers telephone calls and responds to emails with professionalism, ensure that messages are delivered promptly.
  • Accomplishes a variety of office duties i.e. drafting of letters, typing email and correspondence including arrangement of meetings and taking minutes.
  • Assist in the maintenance and update of a variety of financial records such as petty cash fund, purchase requisitions, duty travel expenses, etc. within the Department.
  • Maintains department staff records using spreadsheet and/or database.
  • Performs data entry by utilizing filing and retrieval systems and arranging data in the system.
  • Contributes and supports in the maintenance of a safe and secure work environment.
  • Assist in the communications and coordination with other Qatar Airways Department or vendors
  • Assign and coordinate high level confidential information as deemed necessary.
  • Assist in the preparation or sorting of files, materials or other responsibilities as requested by the Manager Customer Care — Inflight Services.
  • Assist and respond to correspondence within the same Department and other departments when necessary.
  • Simplifies workflows within the department and streamline office functions as requested by the Manager Customer Care — Inflight Services.
  • Assigns and simplifies workflows for the team in the development of office functions as requested by the Manager Customer Care — Inflight Services.
  • Maintains a variety of financial records such as petty cash fund, purchase requisitions, duty travel expenses, etc.
  • Edits and updates department staff records using spreadsheet and/or databases.
  • Confirms that approved office policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by the team.

Qualifications

We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our Customer Experience Division.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is essential
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organization and follow-up skills required
  • Knowledge of CRM tools – MS Dynamics and Prism will be added advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Ability to foster teamwork among members
