The Human Resource Directorate invites applications for the position of Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Your Commitment

Reporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate must be a proven leader with the skills and expertise necessary to support Talent Acquisition in fully implementing the University’s mission and vision.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual, who will provide input to the development of the yearly plan for Recruitment, in alignment with the organization’s design and workforce plan.

Candidates will prepare job adverts, post job adverts, develop interview questions and assessment methods, in consultation with the Head, Talent Acquisition and conduct interviews ensuring the use of the appropriate techniques, facilitating the hiring of the most suitable candidate.

The successful candidate will participate in job analysis and evaluation as per approved systems of UDST

The candidate will also maintain a pool of qualified candidates for each position advertised from the applications that have been received.

The successful candidate will contribute to organizing and attending recruitment events and job fairs to meet with potential candidates and promote UDST to the local and international markets.

The successful candidate will populate employment contracts, conditional job offers, and acceptance or rejection letters, he/she will engage with candidates in a timely manner, in alignment with UDST’s established policies and procedures and processes. This includes the patriation of International hires and liaising with the facilities department to ensure housing accommodation is provided to eligible joiners.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree is required in Business Administration, Human Capital or related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Recruitment.

Language:

Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred.
