Job Purpose:Cashier:

To provide efficient customer service to customers at the cash till, while processing all relevant cash and credit transactions correctly as per the standard operating procedures.

Stocker:

To be part of day-to-day operations of allocated store’s section while maintain quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities (Cahier):

  • Responsible for delivering effective customer service internally and externally as per defined standards at the cash till and to process all customer transactions such as cash, credit card, voucher and gift cards
  • Become efficient in handling bills, foreign exchange currency transactions, cash discounts, vouchers, internal buys and staff buys
  • Ensure the correct closing procedures for cash deposits and cash pickups are followed and report anomalies to the cash supervisor
  • Attend and inform customers about products, promotions, offers, and plastic bag resale at the cash till
  • Maintain the display of front-end counters during checkout down time
  • Check the cash till for hygiene standards as per the checklist before and after signing in/off
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed as mentioned in the policy manuals

Key Responsibilities (Stocker):

  • Deliver effective customer service and assist customers throughout the day as per the standards and guidelines to promote sales.
  • Responsible for preparing the section to trade before store opening as per standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Display the product based on FIFO and ensure that damaged or expired product are removed from the shelves.
  • Coordinate in obtaining stock from the warehouse to the selling area and replenish stock as per the display guidelines.
  • Maintain self-hygiene standards and adhere to the uniform policy.
  • Ensure that waste/damaged goods are properly recorded for stock accuracy.
  • Ensure that prices are accurate and clearly visible to the customer.

Job & Skill Requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of experience of Retail will be preferred
  • Applicants currently located in Qatar and would like to relocate in UAE can feel free to apply for this opportunity
