Job Purpose

Support implementation of structured continuous improvement, best practices, cost optimization and benchmarking by developing information management databases, training modules and data reporting and analysis for Onshore and Offshore Maintenance activities.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

The role is concerned with supporting the Maintenance Department’s core business objectives, processes, procedures, programs and policies and corresponding business data (safety, quality, financial, and operational).

Requires work with minimum supervision during routine activities and with guidance as needed from the Specialist and Head of Section for special tasks and projects.

The role requires an understanding of how internal and external stakeholders interface and the ability to anticipate and proactively respond to potential coordination problems.

Key Job Accountabilities

Support efficiency and cost optimization-related projects in line with Continuous Improvement (CI) governance guidelines to support Maintenance department objectives.

Participate in medium to large-scale projects related to CI, cost optimization, best practices, and benchmarking.

Work with the Maintenance Excellence Coordinator and/or Maintenance Excellence Specialist to consolidate, prioritize and select CI opportunities.

Develop and maintain a robust and comprehensive maintenance excellence database to support status monitoring and provide accurate reporting updates.

Develop data collection plans, support data collection for projects, benchmarking or adhoc activities and provide data validation and relevant insights for management review.

Maintain Maintenance Excellence KPIs and action tracker lists to support assigned and potential projects.

Develop surveys, conduct interviews, facilitate small group discussions and then analyze gathered data to support the Voice of the Customer (VOC) stakeholder feedback process as required by maintenance excellence project leads.

Assist with the development and execution of CI awareness campaigns as per the CI Governance Roadmap with guidance from the division coordinator and specialist.

Support the performance of situational analyses to define Maintenance strategic plans and objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Knowledge and/or Experience

6 years of experience in the Oil or Gas industry within maintenance or engineering functions.

Experience in data analytics and the application or utilization of statistical software such as JMP or Minitab.

Technical and Business Skills

Proficient in written and spoken English.

Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.

Good presentation and facilitation skills.

Project management skills.
