Job responsibility
- Operate and monitor plant field equipment and/or the process of the Direct Reduction Plant. Training shall be provided by the team.
- Carry out routine inspection and checking of equipment.
- Periodical visual observation of product and oxide material quality. Training shall be provided by the team.
- Periodical inspection of product storage yard.
- Attend any plant troubles / abnormalities promptly
- Adhere to and maintain safe working practices and procedures.
- Perform overtime, standby and call out duty (when required)
Qualifications
• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education from a regular college/University.
Experience and requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar job profile.
• Manufacturing/ steel industry experience is preferred
• Specific knowledge and understanding of both equipment and process operation in a Direct Reduction Plant.
• Knowledge of equipment/process parameters and controls.
• Knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic DR chemistry. DR Chemistry is preferable or a mechanical diploma holder.
• Basic computer skills
• English language skills – written and spoken. Hindi speaking skills required as well.
