This is a client-facing role managing high-value Premier clients. You’ll acquire, develop and retain client relationships, provide appropriate wealth solutions and work with branch and direct teams to deliver WPB objectives. Success requires strong client focus, financial-planning knowledge and a commitment to service, risk management and regulatory standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a Premier client portfolio, achieving agreed profitability, balance and income targets.
  • Acquire new clients and develop existing relationships to support sustainable business growth.
  • Build trusted relationships and deliver consistently high standards of client service.
  • Conduct regular wealth reviews to understand client needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Use client data, management information and Client Relationship Management systems to improve client engagement and portfolio performance.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure contact strategies are aligned with HSBC operating models.
  • Work collaboratively with branch, WPB, support and direct teams to deliver business objectives and a consistent client journey.
  • Operate in line with HSBC policies, regulatory requirements and the Target Operating Model, while supporting a high-risk and control environment.

Experience & Qualifications

  • A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for obtaining a Qatar visa and work permit; overseas degrees require valid attestation and equivalency.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least two years’ experience in financial services, retail sales or a comparable field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, wealth-management products and investment or insurance sales.
  • Proven experience managing relationships with high-net-worth or Premier clients.
  • Strong communication, influencing, networking and sales skills, with a clear client focus.
  • Sound knowledge of financial services, products and Client Relationship Management systems.
  • Ability to meet regulatory, licensing and country-specific qualification requirements, communicate effectively in English and relevant local languages, and work constructively with Compliance, Credit and Risk.

Performance Expectations

Requirements

The role holder will manage an active portfolio of approximately 250–300 Premier clients, subject to market requirements, and deliver agreed WPB plan outcomes, including:

    • 15 meaningful wealth meetings per week.
    • 8 Financial Planning Reviews per week.
    • 3 fulfilled client needs per week.
    • 1 new-to-bank client per week through balance acquisition or build-up.
    • Appropriate referrals to Private Bank.
