Role Description

The HVAC-Senior Service Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar, responsible for leading service activities related to HVAC systems in commercial, industrial, and residential facilities. This role involves supervising installation, start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of HVAC equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant standards. The HVAC-Senior Service Engineer will diagnose complex technical issues, recommend corrective actions, prepare service reports, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to plan and execute service tasks. Daily responsibilities include reviewing HVAC designs, interpreting technical drawings, optimizing system performance, guiding junior technicians, and supporting continuous improvement of service processes. The role also requires monitoring spare parts and tools, adhering to company safety policies, and providing technical input for proposals and project execution.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in HVAC Service Operations and HVAC system knowledge, including system components, controls, and performance optimization.
  • Candidates should possess skills in HVAC Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for reading, interpreting, and updating technical drawings and schematics.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Maintenance & Repair of HVAC equipment, including troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions.
  • Relevant bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certifications in HVAC or building services engineering are an advantage.
  • Proven experience in senior-level HVAC service roles, ideally within large-scale commercial or industrial projects, and familiarity with local and international standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and client-facing skills, and the capacity to lead and mentor service teams.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with the ability to work on-site under varying environmental conditions in Qatar.
  • Oversee daily aftermarket service operations for HVAC products and pumps, including spare parts, warranty, repairs, and technical support.
  • Lead a team of team leaders, technicians, and support staff to ensure timely service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive operational efficiency, revenue growth, and continuous improvement across aftermarket activities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop HVAC service technical team, including service coordinators, parts specialists, Team leaders, and field technicians
  • Serve as daily escalation point for complex customer issues, complaints, and warranty disputes.
