About the role
Responsible for ensuring QR’s presence on Metasearch as an industry leader, during the most crucial moment of customer decision making while comparison shopping, across Meta core listings and advertising units. Works internally with stakeholders to optimise the QR product offering to capitalise on the massive reach and revenue opportunity from MetaSearch Engines. Plans, negotiates and closes deals with Metasearch sites to have QR prominence in various discovery and direct response units across Metasearch sites. Develops creatives and copies that adhere to QR brand guidelines and ensure periodical updates of assets in Metasearch sites.
Accountabilities
Operational
- Assist in driving the annual Metasearch strategy and roadmap to drive incremental revenue.by managing and supporting the Metasearch portfolio.
- Identify additional growth opportunities across Metasearch core listings and advertising units.
- Strengthen existing Metasearch partnerships, and explore new partners to ensure relevant QR presence across all Metas and markets.
- Identify and drive technical and data optimisation opportunities to ensure seamless integration with Metasearch platforms to optimise conversion rates. Identify and negotiate current and new commercial engagements to optimise the overall CoS of the channel
- Review and optimise performance on a day to day basis to ensure the channel drives incremental revenue and cost efficiency in line with objectives set for the channel.
- Day to day coordination with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure business continuity.
- Day to day account management with partners.
- Assists in the coordination of RFI, RFP, and contracting procedures.
- Creates monthly KPI reporting of activities to track performance against monthly targets.
- Reviews and verifies all Metasearch expenses, deliverables, and coordinates timely clearance of invoices.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
About You
Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of job-related experience
Essential
Job Specific Skills:
- Hands-on experience managing a metasearch or OTA portfolio with an airline, or Meta/OTA
- Historically handled multi-million dollar Metasearch/ OTA regional/global portfolios, directly responsible for revenue targets
- Experience working with renowned digital brands in a multicultural environment
- Essential In-depth understanding of airline comparison shopping websites, Meta/OTA
- Strong technical understanding of the systems and integration for an optimal metasearch setup for an airline
- Experience and in-depth understanding of paid media strategies to ensure optimal QR brand presence and performance marketing objectives from the channel
- Command of the English language
- Capability to interpret/communicate technical requirements to business stakeholders
- Managerial skills – Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinates’ skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
