The Role:

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Hygiene Officer to join our team and help us uphold the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards across the property.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As our Hygiene Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with local regulations, company standards, and best practices in food safety and hygiene. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards across all departments.
  • Conducting regular hygiene inspections and audits throughout the property.
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP requirements and food safety regulations.
  • Supporting the implementation and continuous improvement of hygiene management systems.
  • Delivering hygiene and food safety training to team members.
  • Monitoring cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
  • Investigating hygiene-related incidents and implementing corrective actions.
  • Coordinating with operational teams to ensure a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to food safety and hygiene compliance.
  • Assisting during internal and external audits and inspections.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Hygiene Officer, Food Safety Officer, or similar role within hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or catering operations.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety regulations, and hygiene management systems.
  • Relevant food safety and hygiene certifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across multiple departments.
  • Good organizational and reporting skills.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
