Purpose

The Manager, Procurement is responsible for leading and strengthening the organization’s end-to-end procurement function, ensuring strong governance, commercial value, and regulatory compliance across all sourcing activities. The role ensures cost efficiency, transparency, and vendor performance while supporting the business with reliable procurement processes that meet financial, operational, and central-bank requirements. As a strategic partner, the Manager enables scalable growth and operational excellence across all markets and categories. As Manager he will report to Head of Sourcing on all Procurement and sourcing activities.

Role Accountabilities

The Manager, Procurement is accountable for establishing and enforcing procurement governance, delivering commercial value, and ensuring full regulatory and audit compliance across all sourcing activities. The role is responsible for leading high-value procurement initiatives including Direct Negotiation, RFPs, managing vendor performance, and safeguarding the organization against commercial, operational, and regulatory risks. Additionally, the position is accountable for optimizing total cost of ownership, maintaining transparent procurement processes, and enabling business continuity and strategic growth across all Fintech markets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Procurement Governance & Compliance KPIs:

  • Policy Compliance Rate (DRM, Procurement Policy, TC Charter)
  • % of transactions fully aligned with approval matrix and procurement rules.
  • Audit Findings & Remediation Closure
  • Number of audit issues raised (internal audit, central bank, compliance) and on-time closure rate.
  • Supplier Due Diligence Completion
  • % of vendors fully screened for AML/CFT, data privacy, sanctions, and risk scoring.
  • Traceability & Documentation Accuracy
  • % of RFPs, evaluations, approvals, and contracts complete and audit-ready.

Financial & Commercial KPIs:

  • Annual Savings Delivery
  • Target % and value of realized savings (hard savings + cost avoidance).
  • Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Reduction
  • Demonstrated optimization across strategic categories.
  • Payment Term Optimization
  • Achievement of improved supplier payment terms aligned with working-capital goals.
  • Budget Accuracy & Forecast Reliability
  • Variance between forecasted procurement pipeline and actual spend/outcomes.

Sourcing & Contracting KPIs:

  • Timely Execution of Strategic RFPs
  • % completion of annual sourcing plan and RFP milestones.
  • Cycle Time for Procure-to-Contract (P2C)
  • Reduction in sourcing and contracting lead times.
  • Contract Quality & Compliance
  • % of contracts with correct clauses (performance, indemnity, DP, exit, SLA/KPI).
  • Vendor Negotiation Effectiveness
  • Measured commercial gains vs. baseline proposals.
